Welcome to the house of Shocky!

I’m Barbara, originally from Poland. After my studies I moved to the Netherlands, and in 2010 I first came to Curaçao for work. Later, life brought me back to the Netherlands, where I led teams in the social security sector and taught sports classes at the university sports center. Yet Curaçao was always part of my story — together with my husband and, eventually, our two children, we returned every other year to spend our summers on the island. In 2024 we chose Curaçao as our home once again.

Barlicious was born from resilience and passion. What began in 2010 as weekend baking during recovery grew into a vision: a culinary experience where indulgence meets craftsmanship. Today, Barlicious is a sensory journey — a brownie boutique like no other. With an authentic approach, an unconventional twist of local flavors, and our own coffee blend, I create pastries that deliver pure delight. Through artisanal methods and uncompromising quality, we craft the finest brownies in Curaçao.
